About Crazy Casey

(Casey Wells McCarty)

I grew up in the small town of Clarksville, Ohio. One day, my father brought home a work computer (MacBook Pro), but never used it. My older brother, Camden McCarty (aka Camden Storm or MC-Carty), figured out how to use GarageBand on it and learned guitar by ear. We started out making funny music: McCarty Brothers & Friends. Then, our uncle bought us our first set of Peavey DJ speakers. I started DJing at the age of 14.

In high school, I started a trio: The Epidemic (Tevin Irwin and Kyle Phelps). We released two albums (They Can Talk and Misconception) and a mixtape (The Mixtape).

Following, I went to Wright State University and The Ohio State University and studied Marketing with a minor in Music, Media and Enterprise. I spent all my free time making beats and writing lyrics.

Now, I have beats produced and lyrics written for 10+ albums. I'm very much looking forward to releasing music in the near future that I deem to be far better than what I did 10 years ago. I also intend to implement all the ideas that I've learned regarding music business and from the trials and errors with making music in the past. Stay tuned for some amazing new music and other creative projects!
